La reina acompañada del Rey Momo, Freddy Cervantes y los reyecitos infantiles, Isabel Sofía Chacón y César De La Hoz, recibieron las llaves de la ciudad por parte del alcalde Alejandro Char Chaljub. La música estuvo a cargo de la Banda de Baranoa y grupos folclóricos locales. También se presentaron el Cantante dominicano, Eddy Herrera, además de Aníbal Velásquez y Dolcey Gutierrez. Para finalizar, sorprendió la aparición del jugador del Junior Teófilo Gutiérrez, disfrazado de marimonda junto a la reina del Carnaval 2019. / With a tribute to Eshercita Forero and the Marimondas of Barrio Abajo, El Bando was read by the Carnival Queen of Barranquilla 2019, Carolina Segebre Abudinen, and the Carnival parties are officially open.
